My name is Lisa-Marie. I am the owner, designer, and creator of Off The Grid Treasures and Gifts. My goal is to use Mother Nature as a source of inspiration and create a variety of eclectic jewelry, treasures, and gifts!
HOW I BEGAN MAKING JEWELRY
I've been making jewelry for over 21 years. Professionally, I began making jewelry while living in Central Louisiana in 2008 under our sister company, Captivating Creations by Lisa-Marie. (CCBYLM has since merged with OTGTG in 2013). My good friend Sheryl brought some of her handmade necklaces with her to work and I was immediately impressed with her talents. She introduced me to my mentor, Miss Suzan Richey, owner of A Bead Boutique in Alexandria, LA., and jewelry making became my new passion. I was working full time and found it difficult to design and create on a limited time schedule, and still spend time with my family. I would soon discover that creating custom jewelry was as much a family affair as it was my hobby.

OTGTG began as an online store with only handmade jewelry creations. In 2013 the one-of-a-kind handmade polymer clay beads were added to our site, and have been used in custom jewelry designs available online.
JEWELRY CUSTOM CREATIONS
Custom Creations are my specialty, as well as the reason for my drive for designing jewelry. There are several designs that have been inspired by my good friend Miss Ashley DeKeyzer of Central Louisiana. She is famous for contacting me and saying "I love that! But can you make it in pink? Can you use silver instead of gold? How about..." Miss Ashley is one of the people who keep me going in the jewelry business and I thank her graciously for the inspiration and challenges she proposes.
